Rooted is a drawing about resilience, family and community.
As a lifelong traveller, I always chased the unknown—drawn to challenge, adventure, and the road less travelled. But over time, you start to miss the connections you once had and the sense of having a place to call home. Suddenly, you belong nowhere and everywhere. You can’t help but wonder if staying in one place, with an open mind, might have saved you from all the ache.
My technique uses layered sharp lines, adding detail that reveals itself up close.
